Music
Through music, we believe that we can encounter and give praise to God. Music is an essential element of our formal worship. In fact, Palmer is widely acknowledged for its leadership in embracing the rich Anglican heritage of liturgy and music. We offer one of the largest and most vibrant music programs in the Episcopal Church.
A heartfelt goal of our music ministry is to bring traditional sacred music into the everyday lives of as many people as possible. Therefore, we offer music-making opportunities to all ages—newborn through senior citizens, including:
• a large Adult Choir
• a comprehensive children’s and youth choral program
• special worship services
• internships for young musicians
• recordings
• pilgrimages
• Palmer Society for the Appreciation of Liturgy and Music (PSALM)
• Change ringing on a peal of tower bells (open to parishioners)
